Mark was waiting outside the office. He was nervous because it was his first job interview and he really wanted that job. He had been 20 minutes early to make sure everything went fine. When he arrived, the people in the room looked at him. They all seemed as worried as he did, but he thought it was normal. People kept coming in and out of the office, but nobody called him. He looked at the time and waited. When he decided to stand up, there were no more people waiting except for him. The woman at the front desk looked at him and said: “Sorry, sir. There are no more appointments for the dentist today.” Alarmed, Mark looked at his watch again, and ran out of the waiting room.
